  What Is Virtual Diplomacy?

Decision-making, coordination, communication and implementation of activities to prevent, manage and resolve international conflict relying on information and communication technologies adopted by citizens, nongovernmental organizations, international bodies, and nation-states. Virtual diplomacy recognizes the growing relevance of nonstate actors and the intensification and diversification of transnational contacts resulting in new ways of managing current and potential international conflicts.
